Internet's Down, Computer's Messed
Ok, well my internet is down because the latest Windows Update service Pack has blocked MTS from my Telephony system or some shit. So yes. I need to re-install Windows but i don't seem to have my disk, plus the numerous viruses that I have had to put up with has finally made me lose my mind. So, I will be taking my computer to a technician... when I feel like paying for it. So I probably won't be using the internet, for a LONG LONG time. No MSN, No LJ, No Porn, No funny videos or clips of asians playing piano blindfolded... No Hoff... I need the Hoff...

The best advice I can give you, ever, is to never download the service pack.

Seriously, it doesn't do anything but make test changes to your registry... but alters the core .dll files that the rest of your progs are installed on. This makes all of your progs that don't have updates to adjust to the new service packs (aka... all of them) not work, and thereby corrupt those .dll files or their own supporting drivers, and fuck up your computer big time.

The service packs and updates are actually just betas that you don't need if you have any sort of viruscan/network protection. I learned this the hard way.

i have never once had a problem working anything on any of my computers after downloading a service pack and/or a windows update
